Status

The brief

Our own container for Eat Street Northshore: 180 containers, seventy kitchens, three nights a week. Win the three seconds someone gives a stall.

Planning

Signage does not win three seconds. An arm working behind glass does.

A container is 6 metres by 2.4. Put an arm in it and the window becomes the show.

Design

One side out for the hatch, which folds up as the awning. Arm on a rail, extraction through the roof, counter the length of the opening.

The skin is the brand pass. High-end projector glass on three faces: the models, the animations and the brand all change on the panel. One brand on Friday, another on Saturday.

Supply

A twenty foot high-cube. Arm, rail, fryer, hot line, extraction, hatch. Projector glass on three faces and the controller that drives it. Our stack behind the counter.

Implementation

The box arrives as a box. Cut, reframe, line, insulate, stainless, arm. All in our yard, so it has cooked before it meets the public.
